In 'The Keeper of the Flame" a rich palette of orange, purple and luminous green are used to illuminate a theatrical scene in which a dark figure, dressed in a hat with an animal horn (made from a ray of light) performs some absurd drama. Their face is distorted and obscured by the bubble that encloses the characters head. An animal bone and feather form oversize props and echo the patterns of the pleated skirt. Maybe the scene recalls an early Dadaist performance at The Cabaret Voltaire over one hundred years ago.
