6 original mixed media original artworks on canvas from the first collaboration between Young & Battaglia Studio and guest artist Vincenzo Sgaramella. Past meets present, and pixels meet brush strokes. These paintings pay a strong homage to the great artists and classical paintings of the renaissance and baroque eras. Giving a new meaning to the old, and re-contextualizes them to the modern-day cultural environment by adding a playful, and expressive abstract quality. Each piece has been meticulously composed, seeking unexpected harmony between figures, forms and colours to tell a new story. An eccectic modern story of tribute, irreverence. They have used a variety of media and techniques combining both traditional and technological techniques to realize the works.
