Woman in the Clouds is a Minehert wall canvas inspired by surrealist painter, Rene Magritte. One of the latest designs to join our collection of wall art, this piece is by talented artist, Kirin Young. It’s a surreal mix of Renaissance and nature that gives a whole new angle to the expression ‘blue sky thinking.’

Kirin’s inspiration for this surreal art project was the way that Magritte so often featured clouds and blue skies in his work - often alongside his signature bowler hat.

This elegant lady originally appeared in a Renaissance portrait, but she seems to be disappearing into the sky behind her. The previous background to the portrait will almost certainly have been dark and dreary - instead, the whole look is lifted by the sky.
