When you explore our collection of wall art you’ll quickly notice that we have a bit of a penchant for designs that take real Renaissance portraits and add a quirky twist. Portrait of a Black and White Butterfly on Man is a perfect example. Here we have a noble gentleman sitting for a painter, but it seems that the artist got distracted. In place of the man’s face, they have decided to paint a delicate and elaborate butterfly instead. What the portrait sitter thought of this turn of events, we’ll never know…
