That’s what we love about Kirin Young’s clever blending in these puzzle piece wall art editions. He takes four existing, classic portraits from the 17th Century and brings them together. Somehow we end up with something greater than the sum of its parts.
Take a look at one of the original pieces, Mother and Child by Cornelis de Voss - that expression just isn’t the same.
It must be the way the faces blend together, or perhaps it’s the acid-jazz background to this multicolored abstract wall art that changes the whole effect.
