MODERN PATTERN 1 – PRINTED CANVAS

This is a fine combination of the old and the new where a portrait of a French Aristocrat has been re-dressed in a beautiful silk hot coloured shawl and a traditional lace jabot. What’s modern in this portrait is print on the silk shawl which provides slightly humorous and lively touch to the authentic and superficial appearance.

MODERN PATTERN 2 – PRINTED CANVAS

This portrait is of a handsome charming man of French origin dressed in a Rococo era shimmering outfit. The long deep green coat trimmed with gold chording and a matching traditional Tricorn hat, a combination of historical portrait with a touch of modern art which could be identified on closer observation creating a touch of amusement.
